"Evolve" Trojan Ad

In this Trojan ad, we see that men who don't use condoms are pigs, while men who do are "evolved." Also, that if a woman isn't interested in you, just get a condom and she'll totally change her mind:

I think your second statement is a tad over simplified. I read the ad like I think many do: "Men-pigs don't use condoms. Women aren't interested in pigs. Be evolved and women might pay attention." While condoms and "evolution" are tied explicitly in the ad, I give the audience a bit more credit in reading a broader subtext.

You're probably right, though a group of students told me about this ad and they'd all read it in the more simplified way, which was why I put it in there. I think the more complex reading is definitely valid, but I think some people will take the simpler one.
