What Do You Think?

A reader saw this ad in Cosmo. Word on the street is that it is meant to look like a vulva.

Thanks aa bb!

Also in suggestive of sex (as if our 113 posts under the label "sex" doesn't count): not just a parking break and more not-so-subliminal sex.

It does look like a vulva. But I like the message: "True taste comes naturally." Very sex-positive.

Women shouldn't think of their vulvas as dirty nether-regions requiring extensive douching and perfuming before being considered presentable.

interesting observation, although i don't know what to make of it--certainly, absolut doesn't want to compare their product's taste to that of a vulva, and unless they are marketing to queer women, i'm not sure they are trying to portray a vulva as a metaphor for their product in order to show it as something appealing to taste....... maybe they mean that it comes naturally, as if from a womb/birth? there's also the words "in an absolut world." in a perfect world vulvas and absolut would both taste like lemons? i'm a little confused....

I don't think they -meant- to have it look like a vulva. What they were probably intending was to have it look like the esophagus: implying that drinking vodka with metallic lemon additive is more natural than swallowing a whole lemon.
